Bach to Rock Hosts Free Grand Opening in Alpharetta on October 29
Bach to Rock (B2R), America’s music school for students of all ages, announced today that its first Georgia location is now open in Alpharetta. To celebrate Bach to Rock’s grand opening, the school will host an open house on Saturday, October 29 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at 12315 Crabapple Road, #118, Alpharetta, Georgia, 30004. The community is invited to tour the school, enjoy a free music lesson, learn about individual lessons and group classes, try out free toddler “Mommy and Me” classes, enter into prize drawings and giveaways, check out the recording studio, meet the teachers, and join in Halloween themed festivities.

Spearheading the Alpharetta venture is the husband and wife team of Carmen and Nancy Guinto, who became Bach to Rock franchisees in March 2016. Their new Bach to Rock school is the first in Georgia. “We are thrilled to expand the success Bach to Rock has developed across the country to the Southeast,” said Carmen Guinto. “The Bach to Rock method encourages students to explore the kinds of music they love, and then play that music with other students in a band and perform in a public space. Students can become proficient and build their confidence in a very short time,” he said.
The couple brings a wealth of experience to the endeavor and is eager to welcome students from across North Fulton County to their school. Nancy is a classically trained pianist and educator, and Carmen is an IT professional and business owner. Both share a love of music and Carmen is an aspiring vocalist, guitarist, bassist and harmonica player. “We want our Bach to Rock school to be a place that everyone enjoys, from our employees to our students. It’s like creating a new extended musical family,” said the couple.
Bach to Rock Alpharetta will offer a variety of programs for students of all ages, including individual lessons, group classes such as Rock Band, early childhood programs for children as young as toddler and preschool age, summer camps and birthday parties. Studies have shown that learning to play music in a group helps students learn teamwork, develop social skills and build self-esteem, among other benefits. The school will also feature Bach to Rock’s new Touch Screen Tablet Technology, which allows teachers to customize lessons; gives parents the ability to view their children’s progress and homework; and provides administrators with the necessary tools to ensure students are receiving a well-balanced music education.
